I've not been that impressed with this villain so far, but god damn, I can't argue with cruelty on that scale.
This is almost as fucked up as when Mayuri used the reflex potion on Szayel, which may have been the most fucking hrrendous way to kill someone I have seen in any shounen manga.
I wonder if this hints at the fact his power has now evolved to affect multiple futures, not just one? Maybe his entire gameplan, given the nature of his ability, is to destroy every world except the one he desires. If you could see a thousand different possible futures and 90% of them were horrific, wouldn't you want to wipe them out and only leave the good future?
