I just want this to end. If it's true there really are just 20 remaining chapters I'd be ok with it at this point.
Kubo had so many chances to answer questions and develop characters but instead he introduced more and more fodder characters and spent 5 chapters on hands and another 5 on laser owls. Oh and the 5 for build up for a gate that was also moot since apparently Fullbringers, Ryuken/Isshin just have a backdoor.
No, just end it please I don't even care if it makes sense anymore that would even be a fitting end to these past 6 years of rollercoaster garbage. I'd say I'm sad because of all the wasted potential but who am I kidding Kubo would have never seen anything through.

The last two chapters of Ichigo vs Yhwach felt like a parody of the typical Ichigo fight, and I feel that was Kubo's intention seeing how his bankai was wrecked. In the end, Ichigo won't beat Yhwach with some new transformation but with the form everyone is most familiar with.

I remember it took 9 months, because everyone made jokes about Nemu giving birth to Szyeal appropriate because that's how long the fight was at that point.
But yeah, this arc feels kind of empty in comparison to Mexico. Mostly on the Sternritter, who are just one note, show up to fight and shittalk their opponent then die because Yhwach told them to. The nost entertainment I've seen from then was a New Years 4 Koma with Hashbrown and Bambi.

He's a neat idea and I like his design. But by this point he's so ridiculously overpowered I'm not sure any method of defeating him will feel satisfying or even fun. Aizen had the same issue ("Now I am the Getsugas, Aizen!" was sort of shit), but not even he was as out-there as Yhwach is.
This arc has been disappointing in general. It started off well, but it stagnated and fell apart quickly. I haven't felt engaged since Yamamoto's death.

1) Orihime’s name is based on the legendary Orihime/Vega (weaver princess) in the Tanabata story. In Bleach, Orihime is part of the sewing/handicrafts club at school.
2) Orihime’s english-translated name by Kubo himself had her as ‘Vega Highwell’. In Japanese/Chinese mythology, Vega is another name for Orihime, and is linked to the Tanabata story.
3) In one colourspread, Orihime’s symbolic number is written as 7/7, indicating 7th July which is the date of the Tanabata Festival in Japan.
4) Ichigo’s hollow form in the Lust arc is in the motif of a bull/ox, which is a reference to Kengyuu/Altair being a cow-herder in the legend.
5) Ichigo’s birthday is on 15/7, which falls on Obon Festival, which is part of the Tanabata Festival.
6) In the legend, the lovers aren’t able to meet if it rains because the rivers would be flooded over and the boatsman can’t ferry Orihime to Kengyuu. In Bleach, Ichigo hates the rain.
7) Fun fact: In one of the illustrated Karakura town maps, Ichigo and Orihime’s homes are separated by a river and connected by a small bridge. In Chinese/Japanese mythology, Orihime (Vega) and Kengyuu (Altair) are separated by a river (which is a metaphor for outer space, where Vega and Altair are constellations).
8) The Bleach pilot chapter had stronger hints to the Tanabata legend, where Orihime and Ichigo are separated at the end because Orihime had died and become a ghost/soul, but it was hinted that she would come back to visit him.
9) The chapter after Orihime confesses to Ichigo and leaves for Hueco Mundo is called 'Eagle Without Wings’. Vega (Orihime) is also known as 'the falling eagle’ in medieval astronomy, and both Vega and Altair are depicted as birds.
10) The chapter when Ichigo goes off to rescue Orihime is called 'Winged Eagles’. Altair (Kengyuu) is also known as 'the flying eagle’ in medieval astronomy.

He got a seriously hit on the head by his injuring Ishida in hollow form, then having to fight Aizen and getting mindfucked. Then deciding to give up his powers to saver everyone, then trying ot make peace with his deciison, then in the end not being able to make peace with his decision.
Ichigo crying uncontrollably after Ginjo stole his power that he just regained was one of the most heartbreaking moments in the entire series.
