Yes I am incredibly optimistic. This hiatus and cliffhanger just doesn't feel the same as the ones with Beyond and the bodyguards. I believe in Togashi being relatively /fit/ now and using a simple art style, thus avoiding any serious back pain and preventing a long hiatus.

See, this is why I never read HxH, it's suppose to be this great series, but I've already experienced following a monthly series that has year gap hiatuses, for 5 years.
As good as you'll make this out to be, it's not worth it due to the downtime. Berserk is in the same category as well, I rate Ubell Blatt and Claymore on a higher tier since they eventually get through it.
Their mindset is that they'll take their time to make it perfect, but Berserk and HxH once completed will be the farthest thing from it.
