Don't see why that would hold up: covering every fantasy monster just means more quirks to pick from. Also, Gakuen is basically "trying to cover every animal". That's not exactly a focused range. And Anko is covering "every fish". I think the selected demographic the manga is covering is less important than how good the author is at taking advantage of those quirks to craft something entertaining.
We'll see how Shitton is holding up after 40 chapters I guess.
