Okay, good point; but honestly I think Scanty & Kneesocks just didn't have enough characterization. They were portrayed too much like just "the silly Team Rocket-like villains" and didn't have enough really great moments.

Yeah you're right, screen-time was a poor argumentation on my behalf. I just think Scanty & Kneesocks weren't used well enough.
I mean I like them, they're fun and charming in the characterization they did get, I just think they could be utilized better and fleshed out more in more episodes. But it's very possible Gainax will make S2 without the main staff (IIRC Yamaga said P&S2 will be made, but Trigger said they would "like to make a new Panty & Stocking if they had a chance" so he told them NOTHING). I doubt that will be any good.

Last I heard Trigger say anything was when Wakabayashi responded "how do you know it's not happening?"
Anyway, I like the whole dynamic S&K had between each other and with P&S. They're my favorite.
