Shueisha seem to be doing a new model for their recent WSJ properties where they release short burst 1-cour seasons with one-two season breaks in between instead of the long-running 200+ episode shlock that Naruto, One Piece, Bleach are having (or had for Bleach's case.)
They did it with Boku no Hero Academia, I think they're gonna apply it it to SnS and Haikyu!!
Hopefully all the talk is wrong. SnS didn't sell like hotcakes but it boost manga sales a big ton which is what Shueisha is after.
