The armor/weapon/power designs are most;y pretty cool. The backstory is far more interesting than the present story which makes me want to read more, so I guess that's an effective writing strategy.
The art is great.
But the design character is awful.
And the writing is almost Fairy Tail-tier.

Honestly, that episode about Diane and King's backstory together was something I don't think i'll forget.
Because it was honestly one of the best representations of the idea of life for a timeless being I've seen.

Generally the backstories of each member's "sin" are great and probably my favorite part of the series. Ban and King's being the saddest. Ban's reasoning for wanting immortality kills me, "If I live long enough something good has to happen, right?"

SAO was based on a LN, Tokyo Ghoul's manga is actually good. First season was also fine and easily digestible for people new to anime, while still being high quality to the point where it wouldn't piss off people that have seen a lot.
I would speak on Erased but haven't read the source material and also don't care too much to defend it.
