The TV anime was shit because it was slow as fuck and stopped adapting the manga halfway, but I liked the characters and the world. The movie had a so so story but it was visually wonderful, hopefully they follow that direction in S2.

The only thing to be excited for here. It's pretty much our only hope of getting something of that kind of quality from Sawano again, but it was five fucking years ago and I have pretty big doubts he even has it in him now. The past two original Bones sequels that I watched were Darker than Black and E7:AO. They were both absolute garbage. AO pissed me off especially since I actually liked the original a lot, and AO took a shit on everything the original tried to go for.
