Starting at part 1? It's certainly chronological to the jojo universe
Starting at part 3? If you like that version of jojo then sure
You can skip Part 1 and Part 2 because they dont really have a lot of impact with the events in Part 3 and onwards

Why do people have an issue with starting Jojo? It isnt difficult at all, start at part 1, why the hell would you start at a part other than 1. Fuck you. Jotaro dies at Part 6. Part 6 ends with a universe reset. Dio comes back for part 3 and kills Kakyoin, Iggy, and Avdol. Part 7 was for nothing because Gyro dies and the kid laters dies of a cold. Im gonna go shit blood from the pure rage flowing through my veins.
