Maybe I shouldn't have expected another Black Lagoon, but nothing prepared me for the utter trainwreck it became in the end. Full-on powerlevel bullshit, loads of characters you don't care for introduced in the last episodes, everything hinting toward a great showdown in the end, but not enough airtime and original content to pull it through. And the manga author is on the verge of death as well, so it probably won't be finished in any form.

The show was bad because the manga was equally bad. They should have made an anime original ending instead of going with the bullshit the author wrote. It gets even edgier later on, nothing could have saved this show.
