With "Future" arc, either Monaka will be the main villain or Junko will come back as a clone, or possessing one of the other characters.

I just want Satou to appear in Zetsbuou-hen. I like expansion of side characters in spinoffs like this.
Otherwise, I'm just happy to see more of the SDR2 kids, since i feel like the SDR2 cast was pretty poorly developed compared to the DR1s.

I've been a really huge fan since Project Zetsubou three-ish years ago. Loved the first game, somehow managed to abstain from spoilers for the second until this April when it finally came to Steam and played it blind like I was a Jap in 2013 buying it at release. God damn was it good.
I'm unbelievably excited for the anime, apparently Lerche and the director have learned from the underwhelming anime of the first game, and have since restructured the format and plot to better accommodate the medium. I hope Zetsubou-hen is fucking nuts and Mirai-hen is a wild as fuck ride. I'm ready as all hell.
I pray to God they're both good and not shit, but we'll have to wait and see, and I'll be honest, I'll walk away enjoying it no matter what. If I can last through Utaware2mono's anime (which is a series I also have a great fondness for) I can last through this.

Its all former Hope's Peak Students, who were pretty eccentric to begin with. No wonder they're all a bunch of weirdos, but apparently the Leader is Ultimate Student Council President or something, so I'm sure he's got them somewhat in line. Though I will say, using the their Ultimate High School identifications feels a little silly when your take into account most of them are at least mid-twenties.
