Then here's a real answer. Where would he get an eye patch in this world. Granted he could cover it up with bandages or something but it'd make him look even more like a faggot 24/7. Another answer is he gets hit in the face a lot, and I mean a lot. The chances of him losing his eyepatch or having it get damaged are high.
