These power-ups are justified. The Magi are no limits magicians who can perform any type of spell. They created the djinns. Aladdin has already tried to use the Solomon magic against Judal many years before. In the end I think magic, strength or other similar will not be the final solution of Magi but will be the Alibaba words. He will manage to change the world, get rid of the magic and the Magi (which are superior creatures). Rebuild the system effectively.
