War, at least modern wars, are bad. The commanders ask advice on how to defeat the enemy from the enemy, your government funds the enemy, sends you and your best buddies to die fighting the enemy, changes domestic policy in a shitty way while you're off fighting the supposed bad guys, you watch your friend die from the enemy, find out the enemy got weapons from your nation, and then when you get home you find out your president is endorsing the enemy.
