I personally disliked that scene where they introduced Yuto as the main antagonist. It felt rushed, and they barely explained anything about him besides the fact that he's a stereotypical villain. Not to mention it was already late into the show when they did that.
And murdering 12 year-old children in a gruesome manner is a cheap way to gain pity.
