We all know Chi-Chi as being an education-minded parent (especially if you watched anime) but she dialed said traits back with Goten and initiated his training for reasons not totally clear (most likely because of Goku). However, Super seems to have turn it all the up. First, her main (and seemingly only) concern with the prize money Mr. Satan gave them was to get Goten into one of those super-expensive schools. Then at the last two episodes... she was super anal about Goten studying for a test last week basically not allowing him to do anything even though she keeps dragging him outside.
In the lastest episode, she had the nerve to question Goten if the Earth getting demolished by Black is more important than study for a test that in all honesty can wait even going as far as to drag the boy down as he tried to fly towards the Capsule Corp. Why is this even written in? I know most of the characters in Super are essentially parodies but this is something that never even a thing (regarding Goten) or shouldn't be a thing yet it is for the sake of a bad, referential joke.
