It's not perfect, but overall I like the new issue. We are in for a very important information dump about the event that Femto triggered and we'll get to see the elf king pretty soon, not to mention the whole subplot about restoring Casca's sanity. Old man on the goat, Molda the sexy witch, the face-tree forest and the witch village are all pretty neat as well.
Some of the art is a little strange though. I'll wait for better scans but it does seem like some parts of the artwork were digitally altered. Can't say I'm a fan of that, but so far it's really minor stuff and everyone is blowing it way out of proportion. The art is still great, and that's the only thing that matters.
Regarding the comedy, well again, not a huge fan of it, but I don't particularly mind it either. Elfheim is supposed to be a safe haven (for now), that was the whole point of the trip, so it is appropriate that we have some light- hearted moments.

Not sure if it's on permanent hiatus or not or whatever is going on but I religiously read both Berserk and Alita back in the day and it's surreal that both series are still going but the chapters are dripping by so slowly to the point where basically nothing is going on.
I think that in Berserk in particular Guts got on the ship or that pirate captain was introduced in 2007-2008. That's almost 10 years ago.

I don't want more Berserk. Not like this. Miura art style has been degrading over recent volumes and now he has taken to cheating digitally. There is nothing wrong inherently with digital, but its clear that Miura doesn't know how to utilize it. If he is just going to copy paste drawings i'd rather he give up completely.

I'm surprised people are so convinced that berserk has gone soft, guts still has a ethereal spirit animal that seems to be completely comprised of his rage and pain. I doubt that all the way till the end of manga everything is going to be somewhat lighthearted adventures, in fact I'm betting that Casca being fixed is going to kick shit off. I do agree though that the latest art is a little lacking.
