It was 6.5/10 ok, after the girl got rescued the show kinda lost steam. I really don't like the people that has decided to hate on this show just because it was really, really popular, it was mediocre. You don't have to go to extremes all the time

I agree, that was stupid as fuck. The writer clearly had an idea about discussing nip culture and their bullshit legal system, where the moment you're accused of anything it's as good as having done it.
So going for a trivial example was a good idea, and contrasting that with the theme of having something to believe in, the value of trusting in someone, is also good.

You know what I miss? Satoru's original manga seemed like a pretty cool idea. The shinigami regretting taking the child's life (representing Yashiro regretting putting Satoru in a coma). But the poster for his successful manga looks like shonen shit. I guess shonen shit sells huh?
