As somebody who stopped reading around the time Juha Bach invaded the soul society and killed Yamamoto, can anybody give me a quick update summary of what's happened since then and where we are now, because I really can't be fucked to go and read all that, I know I'm just going to be disappointed anyway.

Juha Bach killed then absorbed the soul king and is trying to rewrite all worlds by breaking them down and building them up in his image, so far he has done it to the soul palace.
Out of his elite guards only Thor is left, but the fucker literally can't be defeated for some reason. So far around twenty captains are fighting him or something.
Ichigo got a new bankai and it broke in less than a second.

His form of immortality is rebirth, and only when he's conscious of it. He isn't "immortal" in that he "cannot die." He's immortal in that he can "be reborn".
Aizen literally cannot die. The hogyoukou doesn't allow injury to terminate him and supplies him with endless energy. He can be sealed, though. If Ywach can seal released Aizen, he can beat him. If not, then eventually Aizen will wear him down. So much for traps or changing the future, Aizen can simply detonate AOE for eternity until Ywach is put in a situation he has to take the hit.

This is a kind reminder that Yhwach was already fucked by Aizen once. If he managed to confuse the future-controller's time perception, he's the winner.
Also, it means that he's seen his shikai release and that Aizen's zanpakuto is back after the hogyoku decided he doesn't need one back in Deicide.
