Do you miss it? Honestly I can't believe it's even over or that I even watched the whole fucking thing. That ending was such a gut punch though. All those new plot elements and my waifu Claudia finally becoming relevant and then it just fucking ends. Guess I should be thankful it even got a second cour. I felt like that really helped it be more than the usual battle harem since it had more time to expand on things.
Still though. I didn't think it was amazing but I grew more attached it from the time investment of being 2 cour. I wouldn't have minded seeing more of it at this point.
I already forgot this garbage was a thing.
I will only miss Kirin.

This show was pretty boring desu. It was basically the standard of a battle harem where fuck all happens.
Because by the end of the show seriously fuck all happens. At this point I'm actually impressed they managed to squeeze out a second season and still keep the status quo almost at where the show started.
Anyway, dropped this at around ep 9 and skipped through the rest. How the hell did anyone believe this generic garbage was supposed to be the next big thing? Was the marketing that good?

What? Fuck no. If anything, it just highlighted how god damn insipid and bland it was. The tournament was especially horrible.
The only thing that salvaged this shit's more than rancid writing was all the budget that got thrown towards it and I'm glad that it's going to be a massive failure on Aniplex's side.

I didn't realize this was an aniplex show. The visuals were worse than uninspired. It managed to make a paint-by-numbers formula even more bland.
I never entered the fanbase wars with Rakudai vs. this show, but Rakudai ended up being better by virtue of higher production values, despite its many other flaws.
I'm sure I'll continue to pick up IS clones, but I don't think I'll ever finish one again.

Dropped at ep 5, skipped through the rest as usual. A shame i didn't do it sooner really.
It was pretty obvious nothing was going to happen again, as nothing ever does with these types of series. And that cross-dressing bullshit was fucking annoying.
I'm not even sure why I bother checking these out anymore. Guess I'm hoping something exciting will happen, but nah, gotta keep the events as safe as possible.

The girls especially the supporting cast were nice enough I guess but what really killed the show for me was the pacing.
It never really felt hyped and not at the right places. Fight against the twins for example was much better than against the robots in the finale. Then the last few episodes the anime just pissed around establishing new characters and a new tournament which you knew would never happen anytime soon. A cliffhanger dragged out for several episodes.
Also the MC got his trumpcard super fighting style extended from 5 minutes to 1 whole hour somewhere around the middle of the tournament. What the shit was up with that.
Could have been good but piss poor execution.
Rakudai had better plot, girls, MC, and romance.
Antimagic had better setting, music, MC, and source.
