She's 2D. The reason the protag never fell in love with his big titted cousin was because she's 3D. The protag met his girlfriend in a VR MMO. He fell in love with a 2D girl.

SAO may be a shit show, but I will always give it credit for
>Introduce a best girl
>MC gets with her right away
>They unambiguously start going out
Even though it still has a ton of harem troupes, it's nice to see a show where they avoid the 24+ episodes of two characters who are clearly attracted to each other finding reasons not to get together.
I never understood why this show is so hated. Second part of season 2 was probably some of the cheesiest autistic stuff I ever watched, but the rest was pretty entertaining overall.
Pls rate how retarded I am.
>>143139610
It's mostly the fanbase, and the perfect, never does anything wrong and best at everything MC
Fucking tripfag, even when you don't use your trip we all know who you are.
Stop making these threads, nobody gives a shit about SAO anymore.
>>143139610
It's because it had so much potential. It started off with a strong premise, then proceeded to be decent, despite some heavy cliches, then fell completely flat on its face when the second half of Season 1 started.

I actually thought Gungale Online was more solid overall; there still was some life at risk, but the author seemed more at ease with managing a smaller scope; he was also pretty fixated on making it a power fantasy and I had got used with the idea by the time S2 started.
I would have preferred some huge scale epic pvp tense duel, but the setup doesn't justify people risking lives like that, except for some sporadic nutcase. I think the premise of season 1 never struck me as super-original anyway, so my expectations were probably lower.
