What are your thoughts about the Tales of- anime adaptions?
The game stories are terrible generic shounen tripe so why would an anime be any better?

Abyss was the only good one. The OVAs cut too much and could have been great full series.

Symphonia OVAs did some good things with Presea and Regal, but the pacing was shite.

I honestly watched the OVA first before playing and there were some scenes I really liked. Like Zelos vs Regal (with that awesome music) and the Regal and Presea drama. I could never find the last episode from the only good sub group so I never finished.
I liked the Vesperia movie, although big negative for having so little Rita

I honestly think Rita should have never showed up, given how little screen time she had. Just "a genius mage from Aspio" would have sufficed for getting that device.
It would be spoilers for the game, but I think Raven should have been a background character as Captain Schwann.
