It's such a small extra detail.
Fang is instant trash tier.
I've wondered about it myself, I think it's because it's a technical flaw that just adds character rather than detracts, thus is somehow extra cute, sort of like a mole.
Also a bared fang somehow evokes a more wild/animal-ish side (like a cat or dog mouth or something, as it's not typical to see just a fang and no other teeth if someone opens their mouth); they often make a girl seem more rough around the edges even if she really isn't.
I've never understood why, but it's fucking cute, no one can argue about that.
i think its indicative of adolescence or a sort of youthful charm. Like how the imperfections of their still developing teeth only accentuate a precocious nature.

Having teeth like that is probably rarer than having naturally straight teeth. Usually it's the second teeth from the middle that are fucked up, from my experience.
