I thought Xenoverse's basic gameplay was decent. The combo system is better than in Tenkaichi, but the tracking (if you aren't positioned correctly, your character might start whiffing attacks mid combo) and specials are generally inferior. It has a character creator and was the first game with a real attempt at an original story with new characters, although a lot of it still is just time traveling through the old sagas.
The main issue is that it had a really bad RNG (and RNG on top of RNG too - sometimes you have a chance to trigger special battles by fulfilling special conditions in another battle and those special battles only have a chance of giving some loot - so even fulfilling the condition, you still need to get tow RNG throws on your favor to get what you want sometimes)

My argument is that Dragon Ball was popular for years before it aired in Eagleland, especially in it's home country where DB was the most popular manga ever until One Piece. And it aired in multiple countries before it aired in America as well. You'd have to think Funimation was the center of the world to think that America was why DB became popular especially since it didn't even air over here until years after GT had finished in Japan
I will say this, it's cool to have a new DBZ episode every week and have no idea what's happening next. It's something that America never experienced since it took 10 years to adapt a series that ended a decade earlier and had been spoiled. Thats exactly what i was thinking, by the end of the Cell Arc Trunks was weaker than Perfect Cell. Now it looks like Trunks can't go to Super Saiyan 2 since he didn't showed ant sparkles or big hair. That means that even in Super Saiyan 1 he could be a bit stronger than Perfect Cell but if Black Goku can't fight equally against Goku and Vegeta then that means he is in Super Saiyan Blue level of power or maybe even stronger, If that is true then how the fuck was Trunks able to fright him. That guy should have killed him with just the touch of his finger. Thats why like i said before if you want to watch Super you have to turn your brain off because the powerlevel bullshit is off teh charts and even worse than before and will probably increase.
