the trouble is that he didn't mean to do it - he tried to steal Stain's thunder, accidentally drew more publicity to Stain and then ended up with his organisation being linked to Stain enough to get some good recruits.
It's fairly telling that Nevada-tan and scarred neck boy come across as on the same power level as him, and come across as bit more competent, while Shigaraki's big moment of growth so far is thinking of his villain organisation as more like a dating sim than an RPG.

A valid point. However, the fact that Dragon Ball and One Piece are both long-runners mean that Toei doesn't have as much budget allocation as smaller series.
Not to mention that both series are in the early morning block, surrounded by sentai series and Pretty Cure. One Piece caters to all fans, but the anime is specifically catered to little kids. the problem with Toei that they got so lazy after getting showered by money is that they just outsourced both animes to an outsider studio, and do absolutely no quality control over them
not to mention they fucked up One Piece completely by not introducing enough filler arcs/making breaks when they got too close to the manga, and because of this the whole Dressrossa arc was probably one of the most poorly animated and most dragged out arcs in the history of every shounen anime

The sports festival is pretty long and if their goal was to cover just the festival and Stain arc, the tournament is ripe for canon filler.
A 24+ cour (likely not happening) could end on the lodge attack.
If there is a second season (I dunno if it'll happen or not) I'd think a 13-14 episode cour ending on the Stain arc is probably for the best- end on a strong hook and if it really does somehow improve enough from the first season in "worth" (manga/merch boost) then maybe it'll become one of those series that gets a new cour every 2-3 seasons
It's pretty clear this anime wasn't made to sell BDs or sell adspots on TV- which is lucky for it because the ratings have been decidedly meh/average at best. One episode got delayed and got its fucking lunch ate by YuGiOh- expect that episode's ratings (was hilariously low, like 0.3-0.4 or something) to be posted constantly by shitters.

Sports Festival arc is 22 chapters, which is also one cour. Field Training arc is 15 chapters.
BUT the arc immediately after that, the end semester exam arc, is ten chapters. So they could tie the Stain and Vs. All Might arcs into one full cour. It ends with Tomura leaving the mall, but it could be a well-executed ending hook if done right.

Shigaraki made 3 moves. His 2nd move was overshadowed by Stain, but the police aren't overlooking him or how Stain's capture led to riling villains up. His 3rd move shook the people's confidence in the academy to protect the students and them.
The police have marked down AfO as the mastermind behind everything, but they know Shigaraki has been the one leading all 3 (technically 2, since Stain spearheaded the 2nd action and Shiggy followed up) of the Villain Alliance's attacks up to now.

Blackmist is in a supporting role, as I see it. Though he told Shigaraki that they should make use of Stain's influence to get their recruits, he acknowledged that even Shigaraki knew how beneficial that would be for them already. He just had to wait for him to actually find a reason for him to personally accept it and get past his issues of pride.
Apart from that, I don't think Black Mist or AfO have really instructed Shigaraki on what he should do, just the mindset he should take. If there are any points against Shigaraki as a self-made villain, it's that all his resources and connections have been provided to him by AfO and that he's been riding that wave, but the very same can be said of Deku himself. What's important is how each of them have used what they've both been given by their teachers.

First page is the interviewer asking what influence American Comics had on All Might/BnHA, mentioning that Spiderman was Hori's favorite from a while back- he asks what influence the series had on him but I think he's mostly referring to the Japanese Spiderman (the one that had the fucking mecha).
Hori mentions he liked the whole Japanese take on him but the thing he loved about Spiderman is that Spiderman "transforms" from a regular man into a hero but the two are the same person. Spiderman is still Peter Parker through and through, Parker "plays" Spiderman to transform into this hero he envisions but is still himself. He considers this different from how sentai and other Japanese heroes work.
He asks about the "Plus Ultra" motto- basically Hori says that Plus Ultra fits the school but is also sort of an homage to Stan Lee's "Excelsior!".
The interviewer asks for American comic recommendations from Hori. Hori recommends Iron Man, Super!, and Astro City.
The rest of the first page is asking about other Japanese inspirations like Godzilla movies and such. And mentioning his love of Star Wars- Hori says that the thing he loves about Star Wars that he tried to incorporate into BnHA was the student-teacher relationship.
Interviewer asks what other cartoons/manga he liked when he was younger- Hori says Dragonball, One Piece, and Naruto. Dragonball was the first series he ever purchased.

Another villain, not knowing about OFA uses Deku's DNA to create clones of him- going nuts as each clone "fails" to materialize his quirk. Deku ends up giving OFA to one of the clones to take over his hero duties so he can live a peaceful life with a pregnant Uraraka.

I think it's an exaggeration considering that the point was to overwhelm Noumu's shock absorption. With 5 megaton punches it'd be faster to accumulate damage but without it took a flurry of lesser blows to stack chip damage up. Yes All Might's fucking GAR, but trying to put actual numbers on it is powerlevel tier, let's not go there.
