did /a/buythe overlord novel?

Yessir. Even if Yenpress made rabbits out of lampreys I still hope whatever love the west has for Overlord reaches Maruyama.
>>143093481
I couldn't resist.
>>143093481
I wanted to, but shipping would be too expensive. I'll just buy all the releases next time I enter the US
>>143093481
With how horrible the jewpress TL is I'll rather opt to just buy original jap version and let be a display piece.

I don't know the first thing about yenpress. Why are they so hated?

>rabbit

There's a lamprey in the novel that was translated as a rabbit. One if the protagonist's friend was a guy, and they made him a girl. Even their synopsis of the novel makes the story sound like a generic fantasy setting.

Well about 90% certainty that they use a machine to do the translation for them.
The translations are grammar nazi's mortal enemies.
Takes ages to publish a volume.
Overall very bad quality, I can't figure out for the life of me how do they even manage to stay in positive economic status.
Seriously, a licence of Overlord and little money for TLs and some for production and anons on /a/ could have everything up to volume 5 already on sale if they were to have started on 1st of January this year.

Sounds pretty bad. If I wanted to support the author I would probably just buy the Japanese ones, like >>143097010 said.

Most just buy merchandise to support the franchise. There's no way Maruyama and So-Bin don't get paid royalties for that stuff, and it's more practical, kinda.
Just look at RiskyAnon, most people are quite envious of his collection.
