Voice acting is nowadays such a well-known profession in Japan that young people can find themselves into acting schools and agencies pretty efficiently. The problem is finding roles to play that both fit your voice and are popular enough to support your career properly.

What about Akio Otsuka? He can pull off some great stuff with his voice, Rider from Fate/Zero is a good example.
And then we have Ginga Banjou, god bless him for voicing Gihren Zabi even now 40 years later. He played the nazi leader in episode 11 of Joker Game recently.
Naoya Uchida, famous for roles such as Madara Uchiha and Light's dad from Death note.
The last one to mention which no one's done in this thread so far, is Miyake Kenta. I've started noticing how his voice keeps growing, from voicing Scar back in Fullmetal Alchemist to becoming the new voice for Dozle Zabi in Gundam: The Origin.
(A more recent voice he's doing atm is "All-Might" from Boku no Hero Academia)
