The main differences with contemporary loli doujins is that back then, they were typically very shy and demure, whereas now you there's a shitload of bitchy, manipulative semen-demon lolis. Also, since it was the 80s, they weren't skeletal, they had fuller more squeezable shapes.
And as far as I can tell there was a big war between bloomers fetishists and school swimsuit fetishists. It wasn't limited to lolicons but that's where it originated.
