Berserk has lost it's spark, it's pretty much a generic adventure series at this point.
I enjoyed Knights of Sidonia, so I think I'll enjoy this. Also, the general direction of these trailers is very poor. Short 2-5 second clips of CGI does not do well as a trailer/teaser at all. I think you guys will be pleased once the show starts and you watch it as full episodes.

If it were hand drawn the cost would be dramadically higher, unless it were a slideshow like the first anime or if they simplified the designs even more than anime tend to. Even if we did get hand drawn Berserk, people will nitpick and find reasons to bitch about QUALITY and the anime not living up to Miura's drawings. We will never get a perfect Berserk anime, so we have to live with this.
We've already got the old anime and it's nothing spectacular either. The fight scenes there are mostly still frames. CGI is clearly easier for the fight scenes and the Black Swordsman arc will have a ton of them.
