The moment Naruto became Jesus was when you could notice a sudden drop in story quality.
This was one of the few good moments in this entire arc, the best being Might Guy 8 Gates, but of course Naruto had to ruin a moment even that amazing.
Considering it's a shonen, that's a pretty great way to finish off the final boss. Naruto's only original jutsu and he made it so powerful it can beat ninja goddess.

So when he's complimenting Obito, he's not praising the guy who killed his parents, he's praising the guy eho gave up his eye to his friend.
