Nah. It didn't helped Ajin although it could have been on Tokyo Ghoul level of popularity if it was done in 2D drawings nor did it helped Sidonia. People would watch it just to shit on it during a few first weeks and then drop it.

Japan has got lazy now that they have computers to draw their anime on. Its bullshit. It was better before when everything was drawn by hand on paper.
