Freyja's character is about someone who risks absolutely everything in the battlefield. She's defined as that kind of sing herself into death situations of the battlefield and absolutely proactive by Kawamori.

Are we talking about episode 6? She was working in concert with Hayate at the time, the same as she had been for the whole battle. She fell behind because he managed to use jumping off an asteroid to turn around faster (imitating Messer.) When she arrived at the Aether Hayate was already rushing off in pursuit of Bogue and she wast attacked lost a thruster as she was about to change headings and follow to keep backing him up, which lead to her getting tag teamed. She wasn't the one who rushed out ahead of her backup.

Did you even read my post? There was no indication Mirage broke formation prematurely. In fact she stayed in formation until they had in contact with the Aerial Knights which is the correct procedure when engaging enemy fighters. Also Delta Platoon pilots don't have any designated wingman and look out for each other.

The only fault Mirage did was looking after Hayate too much that she neglected keeping herself safe. Hayate was recklessly doing his own thing and charging himself into the enemy.
