I find most of his work pretty OK.

Because that's what most of the japanese females want or think they want.
Extremely overrated, most of his works are poorly/mediocrely written and are carried by art/atmosphere.
punpun is the single most overrated piece of anime/manga on /a/, but I still adore it.
