No, the ending is horrible. It's one of those "anime caught up to the manga so they made their own story after point X" animes.

Mangas bad yes I agree, but its badness comes from the fact that it feels incomplete.
Compared to the anime which is just shitty in the first place.
I'd rather have an ending that feels incomplete, because then at least you can leave it to your imagination, or maybe they'll make a follow up chapter at some point, that's not to uncommon either.
