Every time I see the PV and the amazing visuals and music, I feel the need to shed tears. I'm glad Amanchu is getting its hype building up slowly (even though it is very late considering how the teaser was released at the end of last year), and I still have high hopes for it to succeed.

I watched the Aria anime first then read the manga. I read the first couple chapters of Amanchu then stopped for whatever reason. Should I let the anime whet my appetite again then go back and read the manga?

Oh, it's this thing. The character design in this pic puts me off immensely, and it doesn't get better in the PV, but you guys make it sound interesting and the diving bits do look promising. I'll check it out for sure.

didn't like what they did either. The sameface especially bothers me as their heads look too round. The designs fit better in the manga even if there is still some sameface there as well.
I think it might work if they used some darker shades for the characters and on the dresses in particular. The colour and lighting as it looks so far is a bit too bright and washed out.
