/a/ has the experience, most people have a mother, a grandfather, a friend (even if in the past) and that is enough to have a story to tell.
The problem is that /a/, like most western anime communities, is tryhard. It can't be any normal story, it has to be THE story, the thing that will change everything, and usually, that just end in a huge amount of ego stroking nobody is interested to see.
Just look at "write a manga plot" threads, 90% of it is bad because the person is trying so fucking hard to be a snowflake. "It's a story about a veteran yadayadayada" only sound cool and savvy on anon's head, meanwhile someone in Japan is making a popular manga with something as simple as "It's about cooking, in a dungeon"

Let's make an anime where every character embodies a certain genre and they all go to the same school or whatever.
Every episode we follow a new character and the genre shifts but the overall story remains the same.
It could be really funny to exaggerate everything.
The point of the series would be that life has lots of layers and that you have to adapt to them once you grow up.
May be dumb but I can't think of anything that has done that and it could be fun if we put some effort in.

A mean looking muscle man falls trough the window of the classroom, hes followed by another moustached muscleman wearing a tux and a small facemask.
Both start having an all out brawl in the school hallways, breaking shit and stuff
The mean muscleman throws a piece of furniture and by accident hits MCs childhood friend.
MC grabs a baseball bat and tries to beat the bad guy, but the opponent doesn't even flinch after the attack.
Using it as a distraction the elegant muscleman punch the villain so hard that the sound of the impact brakes the nearby windows
MC stares startled as the bad guy turns into a steel door. The elegant muscleman opens it and walkstrough. MC drops the bat and follows him. The door vanishes in front of all his classmates.
MC is then introduced to a strange group of masked men and women.
They fight those who they call "The antagonists", beings who seem human but follow a secret agenda. Among their strange properties is the most notorious, they become doors when defeated. But not everyone can open said doors.

The undying empress of mankind's last city has her castle on the highest mountain of the deep desert.
Giant sandstorms tear apart the world around the queen's city and nothing can live there. There is only one rule to get to stay in the city.
The third born of every family at 10 years age shall be given to the queen. What happens to them are unknown.
The main character is a 10 year old orphan girl, her best friend and only "family" is the next to get taken but before that she seeks work as a maid in the castle and gets it. The plot is about her trying to find out what is happening/gonna happen to her friend and it leads to the truth of the queens reign and what has happened to the world outside.
She eventually finds out that the queens body is a only a puppet (robotic) and every child that gets taken are trained to be the new queen and that their brains are put into the machine. The brain can only last for maybe a year before it stops functioning and that's why the children are constantly taken. The real rulers are behind the scene and use the "undying queen" as a propaganda/religious icon to keep the population from trying to get away from the city/find a way to stop the storms.
We don't get to know what is outside, it ends with a shot of the main characters face in wonderment of what's outside

Problem with site doing a manga or anime is that we lack organization.
Manga can only be drawn by so many people and thats same for anime. Also it would be difficult to actually decide on the plot and follow it.
Before we can do any large scale projects we need to have somewhat tight organization.
Trip fagging on single thread would be a option albeit ineffective one. If anyone truly is serious then trips should post some form of certification aka older works of some sort.
After trips would have done those we could put up a group on some better platform. If we would succeed in that then we would have to decide on the plot. This could be done either in a closed circle or in public.
Dividing work and coordinating would come afterwards. Theres no need to touch this subject because there isnt anything on the table,yet. Of course most head aches would come from people not doing their share and from the fact that the project would be a long term commitment.
If we solve these problems then we should be golden. Of course it would require a miracle...
