Everyone has seen it and it used to get mentioned as if no one had ever seen it, even years after it had ended.
This was only made worse by the fact that the shows ending was an absolute and very deliberate ending, which was and still is rare, but just like Breaking Bad, everyone wants more. They want more of what they love and more and more, no one can just savour it.
Cowboy bebop had perfect chachters all of them were very likable

This. Why anyone would hate such a masterpiece shows their lack of pedigree(my taste your taste etc shit shit shit). You could say the same of every show, but you'd be wrong. It's consistently rated high and has always received nominally favorable babies first reviews from shitters and (experts?) alike. Aside from that, the ADR was some of the best in a generation. It had a very natural flow that's led to many dubfags superiority complexes over inflating if only for having seen this one show. Shout out to Marc Handler. Yoko Kanno composed. Sunrise animated. Watanabe directed. The usual suspects. Marc Handler ADR writer/adapter. Also responsible for Code Geass and FLCL ADR for comparison. Hating a show because of it's perceived lack of niche or indie appea, or for being MAINSTREAM is fucking contrarian indeed.

I've never liked Cowboy Bebop. The music and visuals are great, but story wise it didn't hold my interest. It was just boring, or occasionally kinda dumb. It's not to be contrarian, it's just my honest subjective experience after forcing myself through the whole thing. Certainly, I'd like to "get" what makes this show so special to people. Maybe it's because I didn't watch it when I was new to anime, or because I didn't see it on adult swim as a child. It was probably just overhyped to be honest.
I'd feel a lot cooler if I could talk about something everyone already agreed with me on rather than something where it really doesn't matter how much thought I put into my words. Someone's just going to dismiss it all and call me a retard for not acknowledging it as a "classic".
I do plan to give it a second try, just to see, but I don't have very high hopes. At the very least, I wouldn't mind rewatching a few of the episodes with Ed in them.

The only thing that really bothers me about the love for Bebop is that it drowns out discussion it's two brothers just because they don't look as pretty. Outlaw Star and Trigun, despite all their flaws, IMO are better, or at least more fun, space westerns from that era. OS in particular had a lot of bad episodes, but at least I was engaged with it.

As some anons said before me, I don't hate it. I never really liked the show, and I only got 85% through before putting on permanent hiatus, but I definitely don't hate it, it's just not really my cup of tea. What does irk me is when people suggest that it's the best thing ever, or an 11/10. I mean, yeah it's good, but it's an 8.5/10 optimistically. It's kind of like BioShock: Infinite. I liked it, even though I had to force my through the last portion, but I didn't love it, and I find it ridiculous that people can say that it is an 11/10.
