It would be a good idea. If they do it right they may make enough money to pay off some of their debt and get a better chance to survive in the future. Just from being Kyoani they would get some initial exposure that the other studios don't get the benefit of, and then they just need to do it well.

Kyoani has a massive debt that far exceeds the total worth of all their assests, including buildings, franchises, brand etc. They are in a really dangerous position, if they sold everything they'd still not be able to pay it off.
