For a non-meme response, Douglas MacArthur. The "hat, sunglasses, pipe" visual gag is ubiquitous but I'd love to see a more serious historical drama take on it.
I want to see Japan tackle it, basically one of, if not the, major pop culture representative of the Allied effort in the Pacific Theater, and then his further activities in Japan as Gaijin Shogun.

The conflicts with the US Navy was usual interservice rivalry and politics, him being basically head of the army and an enormous part of the Pacific Theater being amphibious warfare. To say nothing of MacArthur's notorious ego and his more polarizing tactical and strategic decisions, and his cultivation of very capable subordinate commanders.

The only major western figure the japs are likely to animate is Douglas MacArthur. It'll be decades before it becomes appropriate but he's the only one who can stroke their ego while still being western.
