I managed to make it to about episode 16 or so and then just kind of lost interest in following it, though I could say the same for a lot of shows I was watching at the time. You could say it was one of the shows that kind of killed my faith in anime and the fact that Sunrise hasn't done a new TV show besides Gundam since then is really just kind of sad. Studio seemingly dropped completely off the TV map after doing at least a couple shows every other season for a while.

Tusk killed Cross Ange. Or more accurately Fukuda did. CA's highpoint was around Christmas 2014, ending of the first part, a lot of shit to speculate, threads were extremely fun and interesting to be in.
Then came Tusk's sole reason for even existing in the plot. A shitty romance subplot. So terrible and nonsensically developed that even gives Laxus and Kira a run for their money. Hell it's probably worse. The anime was so fucking boring and full of nothing happening during the majority of their visit in the dragon world all because stupid Tusk had to get forced romance "development". That was literal weeks of boring filler shit and nothing happening. The important stuff of those 3-4 episodes wouldn't even take up 1 episode under a competent director.
And then all that was left of the threads were some unfunny memes during the finale, although the pan survival was kinda funny, I still hoped for Tusk to actually die although even then it was too late to undo the damage.
