All gigantic aliens invasion is more or less Independence Day meets War of the Worlds meets Battlefield Earth and so on. Gantz started decaying after Temple arc and slipped into shit after Osaca arc.

I will give the first arc (till buddha or osaka) a pass because everything is largely unknown, once the writer start building the world it became pure shit, I swear I only follow it because I wanted to see how it ends.
This manga went to such shit as soon as the alien invasions ramped up (Roman statues and onwards). It had lots of interesting moments and aliens before that but then went full retard complete with a fedora tip ending.
Completely disappointing final arc, would not read to the end again.
