Killua is more intricate, but he's a pussy smartass that has no flaws besides MUH FRIENDSHIP.
But Gon is overall way more likeable and a great deconstruction of the typical shonen protaganist, with his personality gaining depth in the CA arc where he shinned, even if it was an asspull.
I don't like killua or kurapika they're not humbled enough by other characters.

I liked Gon better when I was a teenager. Killua now.
Killua has more depth to his character.
Gon is just a naive kid, nothing really going for him to be interested in.
Gon is the more interesting character and protagonist who carries himself well and has a more compelling character arc. His interactions and relationships are far more interesting as well.
Both are awful characters, manga would be better without them
gon is an autist and killua is basically a girl
