Neither as far as current novels and bd extras tell.
BD novellas and few bits in the novels mention that heteromorphs had "bonuses" of undefined kind in 3 of the 9 "Home" worlds of Yggdrasil and NOG/AOG were also famous on not sticking to those said "home" bonuses and ventured out for their shit.
Hunting heteromorphs and vice versa was needed for the players to attain certain classes or professions but since heteromorphs always were in the minority you'd get ganked far more vs the average humanoid player during your playing career.

The thing with heteromorphs was that they could not enter most cities without being attacked and you could unlock a new class from killing enough of them.
Basically the only "safe" place for them was the heteromorph world, but not all heteromorphs belong to same faction either.

What's the solution in this scenario?
You marry into one of the families that the king is not going to get rid of so that when your nation gets engulfed by the foreign power, your family still gets to keep their lands.
The other way is to declare independence and swear fealty to the guy that's about to wreck your shit.

It's all very official how marriages betwen nobles are handled to the point that it's really more of a business transaction.
If you petition the King for a permission to marry someone from his court, that isn't really something the nobility nor the royalty would see as an insult, provided that you don't constantly keep bothering them about it.
