Posting some 2001 Nights for the sci-fi fans new to manga and have never heard of Hoshino Yukinobu before. It's a collection of hard sci-fi short stories about mankind's struggle to adjust when the space frontier is open at last. This is the flipped Viz version so read LEFT to RIGHT.
Thread from 2 days ago for those who want to read through the 3rd issue: https://desustorage.org/a/thread/142617307

I love you Hox, I wish we could be friends.

Aren't we all friends on /a/?

>Aren't we all friends on /a/?
In that case, who needs enemies when you have friends like /a/.

Thanks OP, good Sci-fi manga is hard to come by
What's the likeliness of Viz reprinting this a sexy hardcover like they did with Junji Ito's works?
>>142709365
Probably low. Junji Ito has developed a more prominent fanbase as it gets posted way more often on /a/ and /v/, which then spreads to the rest of the internet. Meanwhile, there are people even on /a/ who read manga and don't know who Hoshino Yukinobu is. So unless one of the higher-ups has a massive boner for his works, I'd doubt it.

>they ditched the a.i.
damn,I haven't felt like this in a while, and it's one of those existential things too.
>>142709539
Yeah, what a soul-crushing existence.

Looking at the demographic change of their readers is quite evident. Assumedly there were enough people interested in this to want to print it originally. You don't find a lot of hard-boiled manga published.

In a way, it's the same for Japanese otaku. You look at their interests in 70s and 80s, and there were so much stuff oriented around sci-fi but now, there's a lot more SoL focusing on everyday settings.
And that's the end of issue 4. I'll post issue 5 as well in this thread since I have some time.

Will you upload this in mega?
>>142710562
No point, there's already places you can download it from. Try bakabt for torrents or madokami for a DDL.
