At this point this anime would be 10x better if Biba was the protagonist of the show. Watching Biba be exiled from the Shogun's palace as teenager because he kept experimenting with Kabane, and then striking out on his own. Watching his dream of returning to the capital and establishing a new world order where people could no longer the kabane, slowly become corrupted and transform into the insane murderous Hitler tier ideology he has now, and then finally watching him blow his decades long hate load all over the shogunate and finally ruling over the ashes of shitty, broken Japan. Would have been great. Instead we have him as shitty C rank villain, whose going to get defeated by a teenager with an anger management problem.
