捕虜となったエフィ・ドルグのパイロット・フスナーニの発言から、剣之介もエフィ・ドルグの
仲間ではないかという疑いがかけられる。その後、フスナーニは隙を見て脱走。
途中で由希奈を見つけ、無理やり彼女を同行させる。
そしてエフィ・ドルグの目的は、450年前に彼らが地球上に築いた「枢(くるる)」の破片を
探すことだということが判明する。
