how did you feel about that whole scene?
It wasn't really emotive. You know the guy is coming back one way or another, kicking ass stronger than ever whenever the plot demands it.

My only thought was 'why does he have to kill one part of pairing after it only became canon' . First Mavis, now Gajeel. They both will come back, but still.
didn't really feel moved despite Gajeel being one of the characters I like.
I dunno, his death just feels lame. And of course FT is prone to "fake" deaths. On the off chance of him being killed for good, it just leaves a bitter taste having such a shit death. But with the whole Acnologia thing going on I doubt we've seen the last of him.
He'll come back to life later so I felt nothing.
