Someone storytimed 2001+5 yesterday
Anything else like that? scifi or fantasy short stories?

You wouldn't happen to have a link to the archive would you? Looks interesting.
Two faces of tomorrow looks similar. Book adaption, not a short.
Hotel and they were 11 are the only short sci fi manga that comes to mind.
>>142540174
The same author did an adaptation of Inherit the Stars.
Hagio Moto has a few sci-fi manga, one of them is an adaptation of Ray Bradbury short stories called R is For Rocket and the other is They Were Eleven like >>142541389 said. She also did Marginal but it might seem kind of weird.
Keiko Takemiya also made Terra E and there's Moon Child which is a scifi shoujo about moon mermaid aliens.

Inherit the stars and two faces of tomorrow are both books by james p hogan.
I applaud hoshino for his good taste, we rarely see Manga with this particular flavour of classic hard sci fi.

Here are some extra stories not included in the viz adaption.

(also yesterdays storytime was from the version adapted by viz, so you have to read left to right like a western pig. Was confused as fuck until i realized everything was flipped)

cool
are they scanned? i'll check those out.
I thought Stardust Memories was pretty good, but again that's another Yukinobu series.
R is for Rocket is pretty good, as well as some of the stories by Tezuka. I can't remember which ones you'd find them in, but The Crater is probably one of them.
I read the 1st chapter. It's surprisingly good.
