This show is pretty epic, and mahler's third is probably the only piece of music that shares a similar sense of scale. If you listen closely they add a bit more rests to the music to make it match the scene, but it all fits incredebly well. The transition to other pieces is done really well too. Pretty sure the second snippet (around 5:30) is from an entirely different part of mahler's third, probably the last movement but I'm not sure. There's a website showing everything somewhere.
https://youtu.be/i36GiWnKiZc?t=1m30s Just picked a completely random episode. It starts out with mahler's second finale. https://youtu.be/hZzFruQCofM?t=1h14m18s
https://youtu.be/f0s9Bw7SDL4?t=1m30s Another completely random episode. Starts out with beethoven's 5th symphony movement 4.
You just can't go wrong with the entire show, its all so fitting and done so well.
