One of the real Greatest Love Story Ever Told I'll give it a bump because this show should be more renown.
Also despite the obvious budget, the show's action sequences are great and well choreographed.

I'll be honest, the production values are really uneven. Some times it's like a great OVA. Others, it's like a cheap 90s TV series even though it aired in 2000. And because it was in 2000, it got saddled with some bad CGI effects. Not enough to be full GONZO, but noticeable.

It's been a long time since I saw it but if I remember correctly it was revealed that Brigadoon is actually Earth but in the future and the reason Marine looks so much like Marin is because she's her descendant. So doesn't that pretty much means Marin eventually married another human and had kids?

Seriously the greatest love story ever told. It's one of my top favorite series. I like to think thatwhen they fly together during the final credits they find a way to stay together. Or that Melan goes to Brigadoon but comes back to Marin later. Don't crush my dreams.
